Google AdWords Management

National Geographic Kids Magazine (online and print subscriptions) has a readership of 190,000 children aged 6 to 13 years old. DDD began working with them in September 2016 to assess what improvements could be made to their UK Google AdWords account.

Challenge:

Activity on their account had remained static, with little improvements in either costs or conversions for some time.

Solution:

We carried out an audit of their AdWords account and delivered a report with a traffic light rating system,

  • Red: Aspects that needed immediate attention
  • Amber: Aspects that needed improvement
  • Green: Aspects that were working well

Following this report, and based on our insights, we were awarded the mandate to manage their AdWords account for the UK.

Result:

We reduced the cost per acquisition for a new subscriber from £11.77 to £7.21 in just 3 weeks (a 39% reduction) and continue to optimise the account delivering better results.
